Harris School Community Council Minutes

Attending: Parents: Richard Eakle Raquel Jensen, Annett, Annette MacFarlane

                School Staff: Lana Coombs, Keith Klein, Chris Percival, Connie Toone

• Trust Lands

  • Watched "A Matter of Trust", the trust land video

  • Trust Land money must be spent on promoting student achievement

  • The school Trust Land Budget this year is adjusted due to loss of Boys and Girls Club after school programs.

    • After school tutoring was added to Trust Lands Budget

     

• AYP / UPASS

  • Harris Intermediate School did not make AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress)

• Council Actions

  • Elections were held with the following results:

    • Richard Eakle - Chairman

    • Connie Toone - Vice Chairman

  • Elections for next year's Community Council will be held in May 2009.
